The product description pages are ordinary (http://) pages, and are not on a secure server and do not need to be. You won't be typing in any information on those pages.

The checkout pages, where you will be typing in your information when you make a purchase, are on a secure server (https://gator161.hostgator.com/~rjweaver/) using a shared SSL certificate. When you are on a checkout page, you will see the padlock icon in your browser, indicating that you are on a secure page. The information you type in is transmitted encrypted to the secure server on my site.

Your credit card information is passed encrypted to the secure server at Authorize.net, my credit card processor. For your security, your credit card information is not saved or stored on my site at all. Because of this, you will need to type in your credit card information again each time you make a purchase at my site. Your payment will be listed on your credit card or debit card statement with the payee shown as "FireworksLand.com."

I keep your name, address and e-mail address in my customer database. It is 100% confidential. I never have, and never will, give out any of your information to anyone else, for any reason. I do use the information myself occasionally, to send out an e-mail announcement whenever I have a new product for sale (about 3 or 4 times per year). You can opt out of receiving those e-mail announcements by sending an e-mail message requesting that. (If you do, though, and you bought the buyer's guide, I will delete your e-mail address and you will not receive the updates to the buyer's guide.) Once a year, on average, I do a printed mailing of a postcard or brochure to all customers. I have never, in the 13 years I have collected information, given out any customer information to anyone else, and I never will.
